‘69 Chev Corvette

A few weeks back Gary contacted Gravelrash with a unique problem…his 69 Chev Corvette is so loud with the side pipe exhaust he can’t hear a bloody thing.

He had a couple of things going against him from the start like the original underpowered radio and the poor speaker placement of the front speakers but we worked through with what he had to work with.

The original radio had to stay to keep with cars traditional styling so Gary got creative and located the Remote switched Gravelrash Bluetooth module w/USB phone charging port beneath the ashtray, removed the cigarette lighter to poke the USB phone charging plug through. Slide the ashtray closed and the module disappears from view.

Out of sight and out of mind.

The Corvette already had a pair of 6x9s behind the seats and for a bit more punch he has also installed a 4 channel amplifier to overcome the side pipe volume.
